Hussein Joins Sheehan, CodePink in Strike

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Saddam Hussein and three of his co-defendants have been on hunger strike for five days in protest at court procedures and the killing of their defense lawyers, the U.S. military said on Wednesday. "I join Mother Sheehan," addedthe deposed Hussein, who has refused thyroid medication. "I was democratically elected, just like my brother Hugo Chavez and our good friend Rudy Giuliani," he added, "although I wish to thank Sean Penn for the muffin basket."
